This position is the primary point of contact for managed aircraft owners on all matters related to the financial operation of their aircraft.
Responsibilities and Duties
The ideal candidate must have the skills, ability, and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities:
Facilitate and ensure timely delivery of accurate client statements, reports and information
Establish and maintain client relationships by providing ongoing account support, guidance and direction, building trust and creating a partnership
Work with the Executive Management Team to provide regular updates regarding the client account standing and workload
Work with cross-functional Solairus teams including Client Responsible Officers, Client Services, Finance, Maintenance, Human Resources/Payroll, Flight Operations, Marketing, Flight Coordination and Dispatch
Manage daily communications and information flow between the internal departments, the clients and the crew members
Work with clients and/or client’s financial team to ensure bank account is funded accordingly
Field and respond to client inquiries to include, but not limited to: charter revenue, special report requests, aircraft budget guidance, bank administration/requests, Solairus Portal inquires, flight operations, maintenance, insurance claims, and invoicing questions
Coordinate funding with client and internal departments for large expenses (Crew Bonuses, Scheduled Aircraft Maintenance events, Annual Service Contracts, etc.)
Oversee client bank accounts to ensure accounts are reconciled daily, vendors and crew paid timely
Responsible for reviewing/approving/signing weekly ACH/Wire/Check payments
Employee and Department Management
Human Resource Responsibilities: ADP timecard and PTO approval, interviewing/hiring potential candidates, performance review management and career development objectives
Facilitate regular communications and team meetings with established agendas
Develop and maintain solid accounting policies and ensure accounting records are current and accurate; ensure a strong system of internal controls exists and is monitored
Provides vision, leadership and guidance to direct reports and departmental staff; coach and mentor direct reports to ensure an energized, motivating work environment and desired business outcomes are achieved
10+ years of general accounting/financial reporting experience in mid-sized to large company; corporate aviation experience strongly preferred.
5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience
Solid understanding of financial and project accounting processes and procedures
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external clients
Self-driven and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
To be a confident presenter and able to present to a client in a professional manner
Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time with attention to detail
Experience working with sensitive, highly confidential information
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Oracle Fusion, Adobe, SharePoint, and ADP
