ORLANDO, Fla. – March 5, 2014 – Attendees of the 25th Annual International Women in Aviation Conference (WAI) are invited to learn about the corporate aviation market during Women in Corporate Aviation’s Career Education Panel. The panel will take place on Friday, March 7 from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. EST in room “Fiesta 5” of the Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
“Just over two decades ago, a group of business aviation-minded women attended the International Women in Aviation Conference and asked, “How can we accelerate opportunities for women interested in corporate aviation?” says Brenda Miles, WCA President. “Annually, we continue to answer that question by offering a corporate aviation panel of experts to discuss a variety of topics from education and work/life balance to networking tips and mentoring opportunities.”
WCA’s Career Panel entitled, “Corporate Aviation, Tomorrow’s Reality” will showcase the myriad of careers available in the business aviation world. Each panelist represents a distinct career path and will discuss their particular expertise. Panelists include:

Moderating the panel will be WCA’s President Brenda Miles, Product Director, Team Sikorsky and Piaggio Aero at FlightSafety International.
WCA Member Meeting
Later in the afternoon of March 7, WCA (Booth 404) will host its membership meeting in Coronado P from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The agenda includes an introduction of volunteers, officers and directors; presentation of the Volunteer of the Year Award and Spring scholarships; committee reports; and election of new officers and committee leaders. Immediately following the member meeting, WCA and Walmart will co-host a networking reception from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., giving WCA members the opportunity to meet with corporate aviation industry leaders.
