Tammy Hand is a SEL Private Pilot and Commercial LTA Hot Air Balloon Pilot. Tammy has a BS in Finance and has utilized her education and background to start her own aircraft financing company. Tammy also manages the Technical Publications Department for a regional airline in Memphis, TN. Tammy’s home is on a grass strip in Southern New Jersey where Tammy and her husband, Tim, enjoy flying their Cameron Viva 77 hot air balloon (Sundance) when the weather and Tammy’s commuting schedule allow. Tammy and Tim’s Beechcraft Musketeer is now in a hangar in the Memphis area so they can fly to Missouri to visit family or spend a relaxing weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks (Osage Beach, MO) where Tammy grew up and met Tim. While not working, commuting, or flying, Tammy enjoys snow skiing in the winter and jet skiing at the Lake in the summer. As the Secretary of Women in Corporate Aviation, Tammy is looking forward using her attention to detail and passion for aviation to help promote WCA and its mission.
