Anna Hern is Captain on the Gulfstream G150 for a major oil and gas company located in Houston, TX. Before entering corporate aviation, Hern flew for Part 135 cargo and air ambulance operators. Hern began her professional career in aviation as a flight instructor and continues to maintain her CFII. Hern graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2001 and completed her Masters in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2010. After being the 2010 recipient of the Continental B737 Type Rating Scholarship from WAI, Hern successfully completed training in the B737. Hern’s first goal as President is to support the WCA goal of facilitating professional networking and access to career mentors in order to provide others with the career-changing opportunities that shaped her own career trajectory and provided the foundation for her success.
